This is a NEW LTA initiative which is mainly aimed for Girls. It's an inclusive and super flexible format designed as a first step into compeition. It's like our "Mini Matchplays" but a little more like a tournament.
This event will be aimed at Girls aged 8 - 11 years. Players will have matches on a Red stage court to make it more inclusive and a more even playing field. Matches will be a tie-break to 10 points with a round-robin format, so all players will get to play each other.
Players will also be encouraged to be "umpires", "line judges", and "ball crew" too when they aren't playing a match to help everything run smoothly and also help them understand what's involved in a competition.
