This course is solely for the students attending the university.
The LTA Youth Schools Secondary Teacher Training course is based on innovative content that has been developed by teachers for teachers, to help you deliver high quality, inclusive and fun physical education lessons.
The LTA are an afPE Professional Development Board Approved Provider, recognising the high standard of both the resources and the teacher training we provide.
Course Content
This free 2 hour practical course is designed to improve knowledge of the game of tennis, including a range of modified formats and how tennis can be individualised for all learners, making lessons accessible and engaging for all.

By registering for this course you will also access all the free digital resources available on the LTA Youth Education Hub, including detailed lesson plans (fully mapped to the curriculum, with learning objectives) and videos showing the activities in action.
Pre-requisites
This course is aimed at trainee teachers and those delivering or supporting physical education in a secondary school environment.
Whilst not essential, it is recommended that you complete the online Secondary Teacher Training course prior to attending. This course can be found on the Teacher Training tab within the Education Hub www.lta.org.uk/education-hub/my-training

The Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) is the national governing body for tennis in Great Britain.
