Play is usually suspended because of rain. All the courts at Devonshire Park are outdoor grass with no roof, so matches are paused when the courts become wet and unsafe, and resume once the rain has stopped and the courts have dried. In 2026, rain meant the men’s singles final had to be completed on Sunday 28 June.
Under the LTA’s ticket terms and conditions, if there’s less than 60 minutes of play on the court your ticket gives access to, you’ll get the full value back as credit to your LTA Tickets account. Between 60 and 120 minutes, that drops to 50%. This doesn’t apply once all of that day’s scheduled play on your court has finished. Any credit you receive stays valid for LTA event tickets for up to three years.
