Cash & Glasspool crowned champions in Washington
Julian Cash and Lloyd Glasspool have found their winning form once again after the former Wimbledon champions sealed their second ATP title of the year at the Citi Open - adding to the Barcelona Open crown they picked up in April.
Having not dropped a set all week, the British duo had to fight through a rain-interrupted final against Austin Kraijeck and Nikola Mektic but eventually closed out the title with a 6-3, 6-4 victory.
It marks the pair’s 10th Tour-level title together.
They’ll now turn their attention to the Masters 1000 event at the National Bank Open where they arrive as defending champions.
Lumsden lifts Memphis Open doubles crown
British doubles star Maia Lumsden extended her excellent run of form by capturing her second WTA crown in as many weeks at the Memphis Open.
The WTA 250 final marked Lumsden’s third consecutive Tour-level final, following her runner-up finish at the Hellenic Championships and title-winning run at the Prague Open with fellow Brit Harriet Dart.
Teaming up with Maria Kozyreva, the pair secured their first title together with a 7-6(5), 6-3 win over second seeds Chan Hao-ching and Maya Joint.
The victory continues Lumsden's impressive run of form and will see her break inside the world's top 50 for the first time in her career - rising to a new high of world No.49.
Choinski secures 10th Challenger crown
Like Lumsden, Jan Choinski has also found a winning patch of form, after the British No.3 secured his third ATP Challenger title this year at the Bonn Challenger.
Entering as the top seed, Choinski breezed through all of his five matches in straight sets before capping off another impressive week with a 6-3, 6-2 win over James Mackenzie in an hour and six minutes.
In sealing his 10th ATP Challenger title of his career, Choinski now overtakes Dan Evans as the British player to win the most Challenger titles.
He’s now recorded a new career-high ranking of world No.77
British stars win on home soil
There was plenty of success for British players on home soil, with seven titles claimed across events in Aldershot and Dublin.
Leading the way in the singles was Oliver Tarvet who captured his seventh ITF title at the M25 event in Aldershot.
After coming through a close three set battle against compatriot Benjamin Gusic Wan in the opening round, Tarvet went on to ease through his next three matches to set up an all-British final clash against Emile Hudd.
There, the 22-year-old produced another impressive performance, dropping just four games on his way to a 6-1, 6-3 win over Hudd to secure his first title of the 2026 season.
Meanwhile, four Brits also emerged victorious in the men’s and women’s doubles draws in Aldershot.
Tom Hands and Matthew Summers finished the week without dropping a set, completing a title-winning campaign with a 6-1, 6-4 victory against Sebastian Dominko and Nicholas Godsick. It’s the third title Hands and Summers have won together in the last two years.
It was a first title for Savannah Dada-Mascoll and Kristina Paskauskas who combined to take home the women’s doubles crown. They also wrapped up victory without dropping a set - capping off a strong week by defeating Emily Appleton and Katarina Kuzmova 6-4, 6-3.
Over in Dublin, Ella McDonald & Amelia Rajecki emerged victorious at the W50 event.
The British duo sealed their first title together after a dominant display over compatriot Alicia Dudeney and Poland’s Zuzanna Pawlikowska, winning 6-2, 6-1 in 51 minutes.
Bishop & Harris win wheelchair titles
Ruby Bishop and Ruben Harris became the first British wheelchair players to secure titles in August after winning their respective singles and doubles draws at the WC50 tournament in Avezzano, Italy.
Second seed Bishop claimed her first women’s singles title of 2026 after three straight sets wins, defeating Italy’s Vanessa Ricci and Maria Vietti before ending with a 6-2, 6-2 victory over top seed Sally Schwartz.
However, Ricci and Vietti denied Bishop a second title after defeating the British No.4 and Schwartz 6-4, 7-6(4) in the doubles decider.
Still the reigning US Open boys’ wheelchair doubles champion for another month, Harris partnered Italy’s Luca Arca to make their tournament debut together a victorious debut.
The top seeds booked their place in the men’s doubles final for the loss of just two games and went on to beat second seeds Lhaj Boukartacha of Morocco and Anto Joskic of Croatia 6-3, 6-2, with Harris bowing out in the semi-finals of the men’s singles against top seed Nicolas Charrier of France.
