Highlights:

Day one: Six Brits win on first day of qualifying

It was a successful day out at Wimbledon qualifying for the Brits with Billy Harris, Dan Evans, Oliver Tarvet, Max Basing, Henry Searle and Paul Jubb all moving on to the next round.

Evans - who is retiring from professional tennis after this year's tournament at SW19 - came through a tight first set tie-break to beat Juan Carlos Prado Angelo 7-6(2), 6-3.

Harris secured a confident victory over Italy's Stefano Napolitano winning 6-2, 6-2 an hour and 16 minutes, while Tarvet also booked his place to the second round of qualifying after beating Australia's Alex Bolt 7-6(3), 7-5.

Former boys' singles champion Searle - who arrived at qualifying fresh off the back of winning the Dublin Challenger last weekend - continued his winning streak with a 6-3, 6-4 win over former world No.31 Zhizhen Zhang.

Jubb also battled through a tricky match against Pierre-Hugues Herbert, winning 7-5, 7-6(5) to progress to the next round.

Basing produced an impressive display against 10th seed Francesco Maestrelli - fighting back from a set down to win 4-6, 7-6(2), 6-4.

Losses came in for Oliver Crawford, Mark Ceban, Oliver Bonding, Liam Broady, Jay Clarke, Johannus Monday and Anton Matusevich.
